2、能够运用句型询问并回答某个国家或城市的地理位置。

A：Where would you like to go this winter vacation?

A: Where is it?

B: It’s in ….（大洲）

1、正确听、说、读本课的新词汇。

2、熟练运用句型对话。

1、国家和主要城市所在大洲的背景知识。

2、Europe, Oceania, Egypt和Barcelona的发音。

1、Greeting and warm up

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Gao.

T: Nice to see you!

Ss: Nice to see you, too!

T: How are you?

Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?

T: Fine, thank you. Are you ready for English class?

Ss: Yes.

T: Let’s sing a song “Head, Shoulders” OK?

Ss: OK!

T: Put your chair under your desk.

师生齐唱歌曲。

2、Fast Action游戏

T: Let’s play a game, Fast Action. When you hear the name of city, clap your hands once. Understand?

T: Wuhan, Hubei, Xi’an, Shaanxi, Harbin, Heilongjiang, Guilin, Elephant Trunk Hill, Hangzhou, silk, Chinese tea.

T: There are many famous places in China. Look, this is a map of the world, do you know where China is? Who can come here and show us.

师边说边画出China的轮廓，出示词卡Asia，教授句型China is in Asia.并将词卡Asia贴到地图相应的位置。

T：Do you know about other countries? What are they famous for? Where are they? Please listen Lesson 7 Get ready.

ppt出示巴塞罗那，师生示范说

A: Where is Barcelona?

B: It’s in Spain. Spain is in Europe.

出示词卡Spain和Europe，教授时将词卡贴到地图相应位置。

ppt 出示泰国，师生示范说

A: Where is Thailand?

B: It’s in Asia.

ppt提供支架，生生练习说。

检测。

当学生提到一个新的大洲时就将词卡贴到地图的相应位置。

（设计意图：先听后说，给学生提供了自由学习的机会；先示范再自由练习对话，让学生规范的操练对话；边说边演示新词汇，加深记忆的效果。）

ppt出示对话，师生齐读，同时师将词卡Moscow贴到相应位置。

ppt 出示书中城市，国家，所在大洲的图片和关键词汇，生自由选择进行对话练习。

生自由听Part A，完成标号题。

ppt出示Part C表格，师示范练习描述表格，找程度好的学生继续描述表格。

（设计意图：通过一个表格清晰的将本课的思路展示给学生，让学生对本课知识一目了然。）
