    一、教材简析

    本课是Unit 6的第二课时,教材内容围绕“Whos washing up? Grandmas washing up?等四组句子来描述某人正在干什么。这四组句子在形式和结构上是完全一样的,学生容易朗朗上口。

    2) 能用正确的语调有节奏地朗读这个chant 的内容,并知道它的意思。

    3)有能力的同学能表演小诗。

    (一)Preparation

    1Sing a song :Are You Sleeping?

    2、用图片复习动词词组。

    3Guessing gameWhat is he doing?

    游戏方法:请一学生出来做动作,全班猜。

    在游戏中复习: mopping the floor, washing up, playing the piano, reading a newspaper, watching TV, drinking milk.(板书washing up, playing the piano)

    (二)Presentation and practice

    Activity1Lets Learn

    通过动作学习drinking tea watching me,并板书。

    Activity2Play a game: Read and stand up

    Teacher says one of the phrases, then the pupils reply .When the teacher point out this word, the pupils must stand up.

    Activity3: Listen and do

    Get the children to do the action when the teacher says the phrases: mopping the floor, washing up, playing the piano, reading a newspaper, watching TV, drinking milk.

    Activity4: Look and say

    The teacher or one of the pupil does the action and the children say out the phrases.

    Activity5: Discuss in groups.

    Whos washing up?

    Whos drinking tea?

    Whos playing the piano?

    Whos watching me?

    板书以上句子,小组讨论后要学生将grandma , grandpa , daughter, dad的图贴与黑板。

    Activity6:Game

    把四个组分成四个角色,分别是grandma , grandpa , daughter, dad.

    T: Washing up.

    Grandma Team: Grandmas washing up.

    (三)Consolidation and development

    1. Tell the children that they will chant the pets.
    2. Watch the DVD and ask the children to listen.
    3. Invite them to read the rhythm after you and do the actions.
    4. Divide the class into grandma , grandpa , daughter and dad group respectively. Read the rhyme in roles. And you should stand up when you say the sentences.

    7Four in groups come to the front and act out the chant.

     (8)  Invite them to read the rhythm after you and clap their hands.

    (四)Homework

    1. Show the chant to your parents or friends.
    2. Make your own rhymes after the chant of text.
